Hello everyone, I hope all of you are doing well in the "Sugar Bowl". I'm sorry I haven't updated my journal in a while because I didn't want to until something major happened. Here's what's been going on in my life thus far. 
My birthday was this weekend and I had a blast pampering myself and hanging out with family and friends. Maybe a bit too much fun, thank god for coffee :D
I'm still looking for a new job. I have several offers down the pipeline, I'll have to see how that goes.
A fellow I fancied has a new girlfriend. Sigh. What was I thinking? I'll call him the law because he's taking the LSAT's to get into law school. I met him ironically enough at my friends wedding. We clicked and have been friends ever since. I'm genuinely happy for him because he's a wonderful guy. I'll be ok, more disappointed than anything else..
Right when I was about to throw in the sugar towel, I was contacted by a pot I'll call SD tech or maybe SD from skullcrusher mountain. After a few emails and a telephone conversation, I met him at a juice bar and we talked about our lives, what our expectations were and different things we liked (movies etc.) When I left, we huged and he shook my hand, sneaking me a bill for my time.
Pros:
- He's in my chosen field so I feel as though he could be a wealth of information and contacts.
- We have similar likes
- He's polite
- He's not a scammer thus far.
- The amount is less than I expected.
- I'd have to travel to the burbs
- While I think we would be great friends, and he'd be a great mentor I don't see him in a lover capacity (he's not ugly or mean, but I have an uneasy feeling, I don't know why.)
That's all I can think of at the moment. We shall see what happens. This weekend, I'll be out of town celebrating my friend's birthday. Take care :)
